“OMG! (Free Me)” is a highly energetic, confident, and boastful track that perfectly captures P-Square in their unapologetic superstar element. Released in 2015 and produced by Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), the song is a vibrant celebration of their massive success, lifestyle, and undeniable swagger.
In Nigerian slang, the phrase "Free me" essentially means "leave me alone," "give me some space," or "let me be." Lyrically, the song uses this concept to brush off haters, stress, and unnecessary pressure. The twins are basically saying they have worked hard to reach the top, and now they just want to flex, enjoy their wealth, and live life on their own terms without anybody bringing negative energy their way.
The vibe of the track is incredibly upbeat, bold, and carefree. Built on a heavy, pulsating Afropop bounce, it feels like a victory lap designed specifically for the clubs.
